The Bowen Treatment.
Bowen Treatment is very gentle it is
not a massage or a manipulation. The therapist uses only thumbs and fingers and makes rolling movements over muscles, tendons and ligaments at specific points on the body. The aim is to encourage the body
to heal balance and realign itself. There are periods of rest at regular intervals throughout the treatment to allow the body to absorb the information the therapist has given.
An acute injury can be resolved in between one and three sessions. Chronic and longstanding conditions may take longer.
